My name is Isabel Korman and I am a Product Designer from San Francisco with experience in affiliate marketing and visual arts. I am a UC Davis and UC Berkeley alumni with a background in economics and media communications.
I pivoted my career to UX Design from marketing after realizing it is a path better suited for my goals and passions. I successfully completed a professional certificate at UC Berkeley Extension where I gained a strong foundation in human-centered design and user research methods. Shortly after graduating, I started working as a freelancer to gain experience in the field and build a client base. Since then I have worked with clients nationwide across industries like real estate, healthcare, education, consulting, and more.
Currently I am a Product Designer at Achieve where I am designing digital finance experiences for our debt resolution business.
I also come from an artistic background and have always kept my creative drive alive - through visual art, writing, theater, and playing the piano. I love becoming lost in my creative works and seeing them come to life.
With my professional background, I have a strong grasp of the design process, user research methods, and cross-team collaboration. My work is driven by user needs and discovering the best solutions for them through iteration, exploration, and testing.
Outside of work, my hobbies include drawing, weight-lifting, playing piano, hiking, and reading. I love going on walks in the bay area and attending live music events.
I am currently available for new projects! If you would like to connect, feel free to send me a message and let's discuss how I can help. I look forward to hearing from you.
